So as I was preparing to give an update of this incredible journey in Nicaragua, I came across the common trend of C. Therefore, let me tell you how God has worked over the past week I have been in Nicaragua!
Christ: Oh how wonderful it is to be on a great adventure with Christ by my side. The day we arrived I was really homesick and kept thinking of life back in Colorado. I prayed that God would give me His pece that transcends all understanding, and ever since I have been at such peace. I love it here and love serving the people and children at Cicein Orphanage. Christ really does provide!
Children: the faces of all the little ones are such an encouragement to me every day. They bring such joy to all of us and make working hard completely with it. It is such a joy to help make the orphanage a better place!
Creation: the island of Ometepe is one
Of the most beautiful places I have ever been! Getting to play with children and work and have Bible study under this huge hut-ish thing right by the water is so amazing. I feel so blessed and the creation I am surrounded by points I God and his creativity. I am still amazed by the beauty I am surrounded by every day.
Community: my team is such a blessing to me. They have such great hearts for God and are so encouraging. They work hard and you can see Christs love shibin through them. It is so awesome to share this experience with such genuine, loving people.
Cicrin Orphanage: (sp?) Cicrin has Such a heart for God and his children that have been left behind. They give everyone for these kids and it is such a great opportunity to serve the people here. It is heart breaking to hear the stories of the children but it makes me want to live them all the more. I hope to be an example for Christ to these kids by the way I live my daily life.
