Hey everyone! My name is Micheleen Pennington. If you're trying to figure out how to say that, it's a lot like the name of the tire company (according to anyone I have ever met) or the T.V. Dinner Michelina's.  My family and friends call me mishy, mish, or bean. Most of the time I'm just Micheleen. I am from Anchorage, Alaska, and I'm pretty much obsessed with it. I think about it every day. Currently, I live in Flagstaff, AZ. No it is not hot here, our school is located on a mountain where it snows whenever it pleases. I go to school at Northern Arizona University. I'm studying English for Secondary Ed purposes. I also work for the University which is nice. It's lovely here, but I'm ready to be done and move on back to AK! 

     I like to do so many things! I love being around people. I wish I could know everybody. I'm obsessed with how wonderful people can be. My favorite things to do are snowboarding, reading, hiking, CAMPING, watching movies, and driving with my pals and good (or not good) music. I spend a lot of time with my Intervasity family at NAU. I love Intervarsity and how God uses it in my life and the lives of others. 

     I think my favorite food right now is hummus. Yumm! I have a strong dislike for vinegar and potato salad. Like I said before, I am crazy about Alaska. It is the most spectatcular place I have ever been, and I hope to live there again someday. Music is a big part of my life. I think sometimes I can be a bit picky about it, but I'll give most tunes a chance. All of my talents are strange. I can make a sound with my mouth that sounds like a crying baby, and I have freakishly strong legs that I use to leg wrestle. 

     I have never been on a missions trip. I have done small outreaches in Anchorage and Flagstaff, but nothing else. I'm excited that God is calling me out my comfort zone to try something new. He's crazy…CRAZY! God is really asking me to trust Him. He's had me take so many big steps so far, and I am always lead to something beautiful.
